The condensing unit includes a chassis, compressor, condenser, electrical connection box, pressure switch, and receiver tank, and it is installed outside the refrigerated space it serves. This unit is a component of the refrigeration system, and only in combination with the evaporator (air cooler, plate heat exchanger, etc.), expansion valve, filter, and control panel can it effectively cool a space or application.
