Evaporator pressure regulators are designed to provide a cost-effective solution for accurately maintaining the refrigerant's pressure and temperature under variable evaporation conditions. Its primary function is to prevent the pressure in the evaporator from falling below a predetermined set point. This way, the evaporation temperature remains constant as determined by the valve setting, while the evaporator load decreases. When the evaporator load increases, the valve automatically opens when the pressure exceeds the set point.
